Enoch Office Honors Leukemia Survivors at Hero Palooza

In a continuation of its commitment to serve the community in many different ways, Enoch Office will be a sponsor of the upcoming There Goes My Hero event, Hero Palooza. The There Goes My Hero Foundation’s mission is to bring hope and the opportunity for healing to Leukemia patients and their families, and this year, Enoch Office participates in honor and recognition of its friend, Jenn Aparicio, wife of WNST’s Nestor Aparicio, who is well on her way to recovery after a bone marrow transplant.

Hero Palooza is an annual event that seeks to raise awareness for There Goes My Hero’s cause and mission. It will be held on Saturday, September 20, at Oregon Ridge Park in Hunt Valley. Patients, survivors, families, friends, and supporters will all be out to participate in the day’s festivities and events, which include a bike tour for cyclists (of varying distances for different levels of experience) and a 5K run or walk. The day’s “main course” is the Family Festival, featuring a Hero Crabfeast and Cookout, Beer Garden (plus wine), and live music. There will be plenty for the entire family to participate in, from games for the children to raffles and prizes for the parents, all to benefit There Goes My Hero and their goal of uniting Leukemia patients with matching donors.

Alongside your own family, the Enoch Office family will be participating with teams for the run and ride to advance this important cause. We were inspired by Jenn’s story and her fearless battle towards recovery and hope to see many more success stories like hers to come. We take our first step towards such a future in our sponsorship of Hero Palooza- come out and join us!
