Enoch Summer Bash 2015

Enoch Summer Bash 2015

“The weather was as great as the Crabs, food and beer,” remarked two-time Enoch Sales Representative of the Year Rick Donovan.

“Far and away the best prize that life has to offer is the chance to work hard at work worth doing.” – Theodore Roosevelt

On Saturday, August 22nd, Enoch Office held its annual Enoch Summer Bash. As they say, work hard, play hard. And here at Enoch, we do just that. We expect the most out of our employees every day, but, in return, we reward them with fun events, such as our annual summer bash.

The sun was shining, the birds were chirping, and, as Goldilocks might say, the weather was just right as over 50 members of the Enoch family came together for a whole day of food, fun, and festivities.

“The weather was as great as the Crabs, food and beer,” remarked two-time Enoch Sales Representative of the Year Rick Donovan.

The Enoch Softball Game – Sales vs. Service in a Battle to the Death 4th Inning!

The highlight of the day had to be the rivalry softball game between the Sales Department and Service Department. The sales team was led by famed manager Rick “Buck” Donovan, while the service department was headed by the infamous Bill “Banana Man” Baldauf. The competition was fierce – about as fierce as a pile of adorable kittens – and, when the dust settled, Sales stood victorious, 13-1.

Service batted first, failing to score a run in the first inning after some stellar fielding by the Sales team. Then it was Sales’ turn. Reminiscent of the ‘27 Yankees, the Sales team tore the cover off the ball, plating an impressive 10 runs in the first inning. Four innings later, the game was called with Sales leading 13-1. Fun was had by all!

Leading up to the game, barbs were tossed back and forth and a bet was proposed – the losing manager must wear the famed Enoch Banana Suit for the rest of the party. Sorry, Bill!

The First Annual Enoch Office Open

Another, perhaps even bigger highlight of the day had to be the The First Annual Enoch Office Open, a 40-yard golf pitch shot. Seven players participated, with the big man – Joe Enoch – came away victorious landing his shot an impressive 20 inches from the cup. Joe remarked golf is an ”Easy” game.

The day was capped with a tremendous fireworks display by Randy.

Thanks again to Joe and Candace Enoch and also Matt and Laurel Enoch for hosting such a wonderful event!
