The Latest in Xerox Technology

Learn about the latest in Xerox technology.

When it comes to printing technology, Xerox is frequently at the forefront of innovation. Xerox has recently announced new printing technology advancements that will be available for your business soon. What types of changes can you look forward to and how can these printing technologies further transform the way that you do business?

After the Split of Xerox

If you haven’t already heard, Xerox will be becoming two companies at the start of 2017. After the split, Xerox will continue to focus on developing new inkjet technology. Xerox is planning on releasing the new Brenva HD production inkjet press that uses high fusion ink for optimal results. Xerox is also preparing to release a Xerox Direct to Object inkjet printer. Both of these new printing technologies won “Must See ‘Em” awards.

Brenva HD Production Inkjet Press

The Brenva HD Production Inkjet Press is the latest in Xerox printing technology. It will be the first cut-sheet inkjet press that Xerox has produced. The Brenva will help to bridge the gap between high end and expensive toner and low end less expensive inkjet printers and offer cut sheet capabilities. Some of its notable features include an inline spectrophotometer that can help with proper calibration and profiling, color management that is object oriented, and a new K-only mode that will transform the machine into a cost effective monochrome printing press. The new object oriented color management feature works by identifying text, graphics, and images and using that information to optimize each image’s quality.

Xerox Direct to Object Inkjet Printer

The Xerox Direct to Object Inkjet Printer is another exciting printing technology development. It can produce up to 30 3-D printed objects every hour and has scalability for bigger jobs. It can use many different types of materials including plastics, metals, ceramics, glass, and other substrates. The Xerox Direct to Object Inkjet Printer will be able to handle objects up to 1 cubic foot in area. The ability to customize 3-D objects without using labels is an incredible advancement in printing technology that will benefit any business. Whether you want to print your logo on stainless steel water bottles or personalize coffee mugs as part of your business, the Xerox Direct to Object Inkjet Printer has you covered.
