What does Thanksgiving Mean to You?

Thanksgiving is right around the corner. You can almost smell the turkey, stuffing, gravy, and pumpkin pie. Yum! You can almost see Calvert Hall standing victorious after another Turkey Bowl win…or Loyola, depending on who you talk to at Enoch Office Equipment. You can almost feel the excitement of the inevitable Ravens thrashing of the Steelers.

But Thanksgiving is about more than just food and football. It is a time to reflect on our lives, knowing there are people out there who are struggling to get by, people who may not have a turkey dinner to sit down to this Thursday. Thanksgiving is a time to be thankful for what we have

“Appreciating what God has blessed me with.”

“Eating a delicious seafood dinner which I did not have to cook!”

“Thanksgiving means being with Family and friends and just being thankfully that you have these people in your life. And being thankful that they are healthy and enjoying a good life. Also to be giving to those in need that might not have these types of luxuries that we were so truly blessed.”

“It means lots of good food with my family and it’s the official kick off to the Christmas season when we watch Christmas Vacation at dessert!”

“A time to look around and be grateful for what you have , your family, friends and country we live in.”

“Being thankful for the ones around you and give to the one’s in need. Thanks and giving.”

“It’s a day to reflect on how blessed I am to enjoy good health and great family, then pay it forward by helping someone who isn’t as fortunate.”

“I give thanks for all my riches, family and health.”
