Did you know that just 30% of Leukemia patients are able to find a bone marrow donor? There Goes My Hero is an organization dedicated to changing this statistic by matching Leukemia patients and donors. There Goes My Hero also provides support for families through various programs.
“Our mission is to restore hope to Leukemia patients and their families!”
Enoch Office is proud to support There Goes My Hero’s 6th Annual Polo Match & Family Outing this Sunday, June 1, 2014 from 1:00-5:00 p.m. at the Maryland Polo Club in Fallston, Maryland. Tickets are $125 per person (children 12 and under are free) and include hors d’oeuvres, buffet lunch, dessert, and a full bar featuring “HeroTinis.” Yum! Festivities include live music, a silent auction, children’s entertainment, and, of course, an official Polo Match.

There Goes My Hero was founded in 2008 by Erik Sauer, a leukemia survivor who successfully received a bone marrow transplant. The foundation invites you to join the fight against leukemia and to bring hope to those in need by participating in this and other events. Registering to become a bone marrow donor is as simple as a cheek swab.
“I have been touched by Leukemia like many others and I am glad I can help in anyway,” said University of Maryland Women’s Basketball Coach Brenda Frese, who will be attending the event. “Get swabbed, it’s a layup!”
If you are on the fence about registering, heed the words of Jorge Castillo, Vice President of the Foundation’s Board of Directors: “Why not…it saves lives.”
